Retail shelving bays offer a modular and flexible solution to
displaying products.Sometimes the term "gondola shelving" is used
as a generic term for any type of supermarket shelving but,normally
it refers to double sided, shop shelving designed for use in the
central aisles of the store.
The gondola head unit configurator gives you the possibility to
determine the color, height of the uprights and the axis dimension.
Then you specify the maximum depth and the number of shelves. In a
last step, the gondola head unit configurator allows the addition
of price rails and the base plate and the Tegometall gondola head
unit is ready.
Basic shelf or add-on shelf?
The basic shelf is free-standing and contains two uprights with four foot parts. Additional shelf
elements can be attached to the basic shelf and accordingly only
require one upright including two foot parts. This is called an
add-on shelf. The add-on shelf is not free-standing.
Examples:
a) You need 1 meter of free-standing shelf: Here you have to choose
a basic shelf with a 100 cm axis dimension.
b) You need 4 meters of freestanding shelves: Here you have to
choose 1 basic shelf and 3 add-on shelves, each with a 100cm axis
dimension.
c) You have already installed Tegometall shelves and would like to
add them: No problem, because our shelves are original Tegometall
and are therefore fully compatible. Accordingly, you can choose our
add-on shelves for additions to your existing shelving.
